Tech Tip – Getting ChatGPT To Produce Answers In A Tabular Format

Did you know that you can ask ChatGTP to provide you with information in different formats.  For example. if you would  like to save time and have the data organised you can ask ChatGPT to provide the output in a tabular format. 

Here is how:

• Go to ChatGPT by clicking here: Introducing ChatGPT (openai.com)
• Click on the "Try ChatGPT" button
• If you have an account, sign in, if not register then sign in
• Click on the "+New Chat" button at the top left of the screen
• Ask ChatGPT to list the benefits or two, or more, different ways of providing a list and to provide the answer in table format, for example "list the difference between formula 1 and formula 2 motor racing in a table format"
• ChatGPT will then provides the answer in a table format, comparing the topics, side by side, in a table that can then be copied to anything you choose to
• This can also be done to compare things like measurements such as weights, temperature, anything you can think of so have some fun and try it
