Tech Tip – Use Chrome As A Simple Note-Taking App
Do you use Google Chrome as your go to internet browser? Did you know you can take notes or jot down ideas whilst using Google Chrome without needing to open a seperte app. It will instead turn a new tab into your note taking scratch pad.
Here is how to do it:
- Open Google Chrome
- Open a new tab
- In the address bar type the following "data:text/html, <html contenteditable>" but don't use the quotes
- A blank page will open where you can type notes
- You can even bookmark the page by clicking on the star at the right hand side of the address bar, which will allow you to access your notes later on
